Chiropractic Students

Welcome Students

The UCA is a UK based organisation for qualified, professional, principal based chiropractors, associates and students. We represent a group of chiropractors who believe that the principles on which chiropractic was founded are as important today as they were in the beginning.

The UCA stand behind the idea that health is a natural state for the human body, and that the nervous system has a central role in regulating and coordinating the functions of the body. Being part of a group that shares these core values is a key benefit to being a member of the UCA.

Being Part Of An Association Can Only Benefit You!

Become more involved in your chosen career as early on as you can and you'll reap the rewards once you graduate.

The United Chiropractic Association is a modern, forward thinking organisation who fight for our chiropractors rights and conditions.

We know our students are important, you are the future of the profession we're passionate about.

It's free to join - join them all

UCA Conferences

Our seminars are some of the best attended in the UK, with great inspirational speakers from home and abroad.

The energy and enthusiasm that is enjoyed at these conferences is not too be missed.

Student sponsorship is available to all UCA run seminars; however, these spaces are limited and are allocated on a 'first come first served' basis to student members only.

If you miss out on sponsorship we still have a special discounted rate for students and 1st year graduates.

Student Mentorship Programme

The UCA Student mentorship programme is for all students in their final year and has been designed to offer the following benefits to students:

Mentorship Programme
  • Insight into life in Chiropractic Practice

  • Opportunities to observe a Chiropractor in Practice

  • Connection to the principles of Chiropractic during a heavy, theoretical, science based education.

  • Advice, help and inspiration during college life

  • Possible seminar sponsorship

  • Creating a relationship with future colleagues and possible associates

Ultimately the relationship can be whatever you and your mentor wish to make it. NOTE: Only Student members can join this programme in their final two years.

Provisional Registration Training Scheme

The College of Chiropractors provides a Provisional Registration Training Scheme (PRT) for new graduates. Completion of the College’s PRT programme by new graduates is not a mandatory requirement for full membership of the UCA.

This scheme has been set up to provide a support network of Trainers and Tutors and most importantly, other local graduates. You will be able to attend PRT seminars which will provide you with a chance to discuss common problems and learn how others have dealt with similar experiences. The PRT programme is not about teaching you how to practise. It is about helping you to discover what you need to know for yourself. It helps bridge the gap between undergraduate college and independent practise, enabling your competence to develop into clinical proficiency.

On completion of the Programme all UCA members will receive a DC award, Diploma in Chiropractic and will be presented with a certificate.
